How about free Star Wars printables if you still have a Christmas tree in your living room? It’s even an angel Stormtrooper. The 3D model needs brim or supporter to be printed stably. Also you may need to remove filament thread (or spider web) after printing. Just let 2019 go and make a wish for 2020 with this unusual angel!
Free Star Wars Printables with PLA
“What to print” for the second day of new year is angel Stormtrooper. Lilac might not be the right color for Stormtrooper but you see, it’s an angel with its wings! So I just used the color which was loaded from the previous print, mini picture frame.
Actually I didn’t intend to search Star Wars figurines but just bumped into this unusual angel – maybe because I’d love to make a wish to an angel.
Special thanks to Thingiverse user “BonGarcon” for sharing. You can find many other free Star Wars printables on Thingiverse, like Darth Vader or Chewbacca.
Free Star Wars printables: printing data
- Hardware: Cubicon Style

- Filament cost: 13.59g (PLA / brim)
The file sharer provides 3 types of angel and I printed “hollow”. You can also have “tree angel” if you want.
I think the model needs something to be stable on the printer bed and that’s why I made a brim.
It also needed to be tidy with the spider web (this is what we call it in Korea and I’m wondering if you also call it like this) under its arms. Since I’m going to finish today’s work earlier, I did minimum sandpaper of 4-5 minutes.
The surface looks a bit rough with PLA. Maybe “supporters under arms” would make better result. Although the brim was not completely removed, I took a photo quickly with my product A Piece of Sky drink coaster. I also want to try other free Star Wars printables next time.
Did you make a new year’s wish? I think one of the best things that I’ve done in 2019 is starting Color Blog, though I still have long way to go.
I hope I can write better posts for you who’re interested in my categories. So drop in from time to time and encourage me to keep going!
