There might be hundreds of apps to make Instagram Story collage. So I’d like to introduce one of the easiest ways to do it by mobile app with ready-to-use templates. The collage making by Dazzle can be used for videos as well as still images.
Instagram Story Collage App
You already know the screen ratio of Instagram Story, don’t you? It’s 9:16, means you have “vertically wide” space to express yourself. So you often want to make a collage of more than two pictures and share it.
If you want to do it quickly and easily, just follow how I did on this article. Dazzle provides nice templates to make Instagram Story collage. Many of them need to pay, but there are free ones as well. I used two of the free templates to show you today’s collages.
Easy to make Instagram Story collage
How to make Instagram Story collage couldn’t be easier. Do it now, at the same time as reading this short article.
1. Download, open Dazzle and choose the style of template (I chose “Classic” first). Templates are already 9:16 ratios for Instagram Story.
2. Tap the template then you see the “+” buttons displayed. Tap each button to add photo or even video from your camera roll.
Some templates include text (like “Shapes” which I also tried on the screenshot 5 & 6). Tap the text and edit as you like. You can remove it by tapping the small “trash” icon.
3, 4. Tap the arrow or something to save your collage (you’ll see the screenshot 4 after 3). Since it’s too simple, we don’t need to do anything else!
Here you can see my collages of still images. I used “Classic” for my travel photos and “Shapes” for the product photos of Mini Memories Instax frame (screenshot far below). Since all of them are 9:16, you can crop your collage when you upload it as ordinary (non-Story) posts.
Maybe the only problem is “Dazzle App” watermark for free templates. Since the saved image has a watermark (like the screenshot 6), you can take your screenshot before saving and trim the image by another app like Repix which is good to do things like that.
You can also think about a monthly subscription or just leave it, to appreciate the developers even a little when we can’t subscribe all the apps that we use.
I hope you enjoy today’s simple how-to article. Don’t forget to make your collages and post them on Instagram! I would be pleased if I could have a chance to see it.
I think I’ll be back with longer Photo Apps articles, hopefully in a month.
